Cyber risk management that starts with how your business actually works.
Why we exist
A cybersecurity gap gets identified. Evaluations get underway. A project gets built and readied for approval. And then somehow, nothing happens. Priorities shift. Budgets move elsewhere.
This is not a resourcing problem or a skills problem. Without a clear picture of what the business is actually at risk of losing, decisions cannot be made. Plans cannot hold.
The market has tools for compliance, monitoring, and specific threat scenarios. It does not have a tool for understanding risk in the context of how each business works.
That is the gap Cordaata was built to fill.
Who we are
Cordaata was founded by a team who came to the same problem from different directions. Engineering. Product. Security operations. Go to market. Each bringing a discipline the others do not cover.
All the skill needed to execute was already in the room.
What we believe
Every business operates differently. The systems it depends on. The processes that generate revenue. The dependencies that keep it running. No two organisations share the same risk profile, even in the same sector.
“How a business operates is as unique as a fingerprint.”
Yet most cyber risk tools treat every business the same way, applying a generic framework and calling the output a risk assessment. We believe that is the root cause of decisions that do not get made, plans that do not hold, and investments that do not reduce risk.
What good looks like
Cyber risk management done well is not an annual exercise triggered by a regulatory deadline. It is a continuous practice that evolves as the business changes, as new threats emerge, and as the organisation acts on its roadmap.
“A defensible strategy the whole organisation can understand, agree on, and act from.”
Grounded in evidence, not vendor pitches or the last breach in the news. Specific to each business, not a generic framework applied to it.
This is the change Cordaata is here to champion.
Who we are for
Organisations that want a clear picture of their exposure, a plan grounded in evidence, and the confidence to act on it.
If you feel the same way, we would like to help.
